Description:
Word Farm Harvest is a word game with theme park building elements that allow players to design/customize their own unique Farm. The player progresses through the level as a farmer harvesting crops to earn a living and grow their precious Farm business by investing the earned income into new building structures and animals. As the player continues to progress, more farm space is unlocked along with new farm buildings, decorations and unique special events which offer players an opportunity to collect helpful booster rewards, thus increasing their chances at successfully passing future levels. The game also offers an online cooperative experience where players can invite their friends and exchange lives with each other daily, to continue along with the journey.

Design Commentary
Majority of my work while working on this project revolved around researching competitive products and analyzing their systems to get a better understanding of what made them successful and how we could improve upon their design to make an equally, if not better overall product. To this end, I was tasked with playing through various different successful word games available in the market and take notes to present in front of the director as well as bounce ideas between the other designers. Once the game concept was finalized and the production had begun my role was to test the various different systems by creating several test levels using the new engine and document any bugs or issues that would arise. Furthermore, I was also tasked with helping create visually appealing decoration quests in the game because of my environment composition skills from previous works. This was very well received and almost all of my compositions were approved to be used in the final build.
In addition to helping the studio with research material, I was also assigned duties to help ensure that the localization of the game into different languages was as smooth as possible by going through various dictionaries to eliminate any inappropriate words, slang and abbreviations. When the game had reached its beta stage my task was to ensure that there are no bugs with the various gameplay loops and that the product meets the quality standards set by the project managers.

manager and programmer.
